Project Overview
Wolt is one of the top food-delivery services in Norway. It aims to connect customers with restaurants through its app so customers can order food in minutes. Wolt arranges the pickup and delivery, and their "contactless deliver" option has helped users feel more at ease in the time of an airborne viral pandemic.
2020 was a challenge for businesses across the world, especially restaurants. Delivery services became essential for their survival, and in a world full of lockdowns and restrictions, food delivery apps became the only way to eat out.
Concept
The Finish company made their services available in Norway in November 2019, and Foodora are strong competition. Myself and my project partner use both apps regularly, and felt Wolt had untapped-potential in its user experience.
